Today I became an adult. I did not enter adulthood when I got married, graduated college. or started my first real job. I became an adult today- when I made my very first, on my own, all by myself political decision. Dont get me wrong- I have political opinions. But this was the first one I felt was made not based on someone else's opinion. It was not made because someone I respect communicated THEIR opinion to me and it made sense. Nor was it made because I disagreed with someone. It was just me and my thoughts. I immediately called Shaun and told him about my epiphany. After congratulating me, he informed me it was time to start a blog. So here I am.
So here it is. My opinion. Its like I'm about to have my first child. Take a deep breath.....and....PUSSSSSHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
I do not think social security should be privatized.
PS- Dont worry. This is not a political blog. You'll actually want to read it.

Wow I could not disagree more...here is a fact you probably didn't know. Social security is a pyramid scheme. No that’s not just my opinion that’s actually the way the accounting works. The money you pay in today goes to pay ppl who are retired and drawing their checks now. the money they paid in 20 years ago payed old ppl 20 years ago who needed it then. The way it is set up to work the only way it will work is if you have an exponentially increasing population base....hence the exact definition of a pyramid scheme... a very simple example is this: You give me five dollars today and I will double your money in one week, I come back in a week with 10 bucks, how did I do it? I found someone else and told them the same thing. I can keep this going as long as my population of ppl who give me five dollars expands exponentially. This is exactly why it MUST be privatized because it won't work other wise. But congrats on the baby...
Here is a fact you probably didn't know- i did know that.
And i still think it shouldn't be privatized.

Oh, and I don't really know anything about social security, I'm a dumb republican... but I look forward to finding out!

PS - "anonymous" is obviously a male... that's why they knew a "fact you probably didn't know." Females will never know the vast depth of knowledge that males do, we always make decisions (even political ones) based on our menstral cycle. TASTY

I could not agree more with Behany's statement concerning the decision making ability of women.

I'm sorry, I didn't mean that "anonymous" was just any male... I should have been more specific. "Anonymous" is obviously Chuck or Ryan. For the same reasons as mentioned above.
