Whats up with the Cross fam?
Well...Shaun finished up his classes last semester- we don't know his grades till we actually pay RTS - but I'm confident he did well.
We bought a new-used car. Its a 2003 Ford Focus with pimped out tinted windows. Tiiiiiiiight.
Our Christmas was spent in Orlando- hanging out and playing cards with Shaun's side of the family. It was nice and relaxing- but we both dreamed of a White Christmas...one of these days we shall bundle up by the fire and sip hot apple cider. But not as long as we live in Florida...
The Mendenhalls and Jaime and our Orlando friends spent New Years with us- good times- one may say we experienced the Ovshinksky Effect. It was a latafundium.
I am currently 31 weeks pregnant. This child is out of control. Growing up I was never close to anyone that was pregnant, so this is really strange territory. I look down at my stomach and watch lumps poking out and moving from one side to the other. There is a person- INSIDE OF ME. its crazy. I really think I could sit all day feeling and watching my stomach. The third trimester isn't so much fun. My ankles are swollen and my hips ache- and forget about bending over. People think just because you are pregnant a woman doesn't mind hearing about how HUGE she is getting. False.
I had a surprise baby shower from the fourth grade class at CFCA. Instead of doing their usual Christmas gift exchange, they decided to throw me a shower- what a huge blessing. We got all this stuff for the 'nursery' (which we aren't really doing until we move), a NICE swing and alot of cute blankety-outifty-toyey stuff. There is still a crap load of stuff to get- but if i have learned anything over the past 2 1/2 years of marriage is that God provides exactly when and how he wants too. I'm not stressed. (registered at Babies R Us- in case you were wondering ;) )
I've looked at this past school year as a checklist- start school (check), put on The Miracle Worker (check), Thanksgiving break (check), Midterms (check), Chirstmas break (check), Baby....
I can't believe the Baby is next! Crazy! Our lives are about to change forever...

i want to see your belly dance! :( and if you want, i'll punch the next person in the face who harps on how big the baby is making you. "oh! you're HUGE! you're as big as the side of a barn! how do you even fit through the door? it's ok though, because you're pregnant! how precious!" yeah, i hated that too.
