It's been about 5 months since I have posted anything. A lot happens in five months. I am not going to try to sum it all up. Two reasons: 1)it is probably boring and 2) anyone who cares enough to still check this blog probably already knows most of it
So I've just decided to talk about the now.
I like him:

I just read this:

I'm directing this:

Hazel update: My TEN MONTH OLD is crawling, clapping, hiding her face for peek-a-boo, walking holding on to furniture, enjoying Impressionism (especially Renoir), getting MONO (yeah, you read that right), playing pattycake (clapping and 'rooooolling it'), giving kisses (may explain the Mono), saying hi, saying dada, saying hi dada...i could go on like a proud mother all night... as Shaun remarked the other night- she has taken over our world by force. During my pregnancy i got so annoyed by EVERY mother telling me what its gonna be like or what i'm gonna want to do . This is what I have to say to first time expecting mothers: Make your plans, read your articles, do whatever you want to make you feel like you will have some control over this situation. Have fun with all that...but expect it to all go out the window. A woman who was due with her first child right about the same time as i told me she refused to let this itty bitty person control her house. She didn't realize it then but SHE HAD NO CHOICE. If you are not ready for that reality, DO NOT GET PREGNANT. If you are not ready for your life to change, not ready to go a few days without a shower, not ready tell your friends 'no we can't go out for dinner tonight,' RECONSIDER HAVING A BABY. if you are already pregnant and this sounds unappealing...well...SORRY. But when you get to see this face every morning ... who can complain?

AMEN SISTER!!! Out of my friends, I am the only one that has a child so I have to hear them constantly griping at me for not having a sitter or money to go out with them. I just tell them I'd rather sit around the house and play hide-n-seek than worry about who my son is staying with and what he might be getting into (even though he's older now). :)
