No, not really. But at times i just get depressed about punishment. Punishment seems to be more like a father fixing his own mistakes than it is a father fixing his kids mistakes. Fact is however, mistakes are inevitable. And well, discipline is necessary...just depends on how people do it.
yah so i'm definalty for it... and i didnt used to be... i think it is perfectly okay for the state to punish as they see fit. with the crap i have seen in the last seven monthes (in pictures and stories) there are some crimanls who if the public knew the full extent of the sick crap they do Jesus himself would be the only one in the whole universe not pushin for that person be put to death ASAP... if you took the death pentaly out of the US you would see a spike in violent crime. i can almost gaurnatee if you had a manditory death penality for any drug possession over 1 gram, you would see crime drop like crazy over night....

I GARUNTEE! That if the US eliminated the death penalty, the numbers of violent crimes would remain roughly the same.
I GARUNTEE! That if people base a life's worth on pictures and stories, they judge in ignorance.
I GARUNTEE! That if you made capital punishment mandatory you would see a spike in violent crimes, namely, riots.
