Its Friday night and I'm sitting here alone (well, with Moses and the baby) watching 20/20. I remember being in Middle School, going to the movies with about 25 other kids every Friday night, getting home to friends' parents watching 20/20, and thinking "Wow, being an adult is REALLY boring."
The Basic Infant Care class was a little overwhelming. We covered it all- crying, diapering, sleeping, bathing, clothing, feeding, circumcising, burping, peeing and pooping. But now I can't help but think of the millions of women that have raised perfectly healthy children without having to take a class. So no worries, right?
I've become obsessed with waffles. I have no idea who gave us that waffle maker as a wedding gift, but if you are reading this - THANK YOU.
Shaun has a new post-his blog is linked to the left. I'm gonna take this opportunity to brag on my husband. Last semester, he took an apologetics class with John Frame (I didn't know who he was until Shaun started seminary, but apparently he's a pretty big deal in the world of reformed theology). At the end of the course they had to write a dialogue between a believer and non-believer. Frame REALLY liked Shaun's paper and is posting it on the "Hall of Frame" on his website! I think (Shaun correct me if I'm wrong) that he will also use it as like the sample paper for upcoming classes- "This is what your paper should be." Way to go, honey!
Less than 4 weeks from the due date- Lets go Baby!
Alrighty- I'm out like gout.
