- your town, my town - Monday, February 06, 2006 Well it seems as if my political opinions didn't cause as much of a stir as last time. oh well. On a brighter note, CFCA approved Our Town for the Spring Play! I'm so excited. and generally, its a good thing if the director is excited about the play. Just ask William Ball. Or Bill, as some people I know like to call him. My students are doing great, too....They love Uta Hagen. We watched her acting class DVDs in class- and they were like "It makes so much sense!" Music to my ears. One day i pushed back lesson plans for , as they put it "FOR THE SAKE OF UTA!!" They worked on acting scenes- and for the most part they were fab. Except that pesky Steel Magnolias "Momma, Jackson and I have soemthing to tell you" scene. But I'll tell you, I was amazed at most of them.... Though I dont know what next year holds, the Lord has given me a hopeful few months...I"m really enjoying my job.
